To all &c Whereas &c now Know Ye That I the said Sir William Berkeley Knight Governor &c give and grant unto Mr WILLIAM WEST Two thousand five hundred acres of Land lying on the Eastward side of Poquimun River being about Six or Seven Miles up the said River beginning at a marked White oak on a point of Land near a great marsh and nigh an Indian Fields runing north east 320 Poles then Southeast 1250 poles, then Southwest 320 poles to a marked white oak at the Mouth of a small Creek called Curaticks and from thence up the said River of Perquirmin to the first Station. The said Land being due to the said WEST for Transportation of fifty persons &c To Have and TO HOLD &c. To be Held &c Yielding and paying &c provided &c Dated the 25th of September 1663.
