[1662-16 Feb]  Thomas Poole - Land Grant

TO ALL &c  Whereas &c now Know Ye that I the said Sir William Berkeley Knight Governor &c give and grant unto THOMAS POOLE one hundred Acres of Land lying in the lower parish of the Isle of Wight County  Beginning at a marked Peckickory joining to said POOLS land, thence runing North 160 poles at a black Oak, thence, north West and by north 60 Poles to the Land of Mr ROBERT BRACEWELL thence by the marked trees of the said BRACEWELLS Land, South Southwest & Southwest and by South 320 poles to the Corner tree of the said POOLS Land, thence running by the marked trees of the said POOLS Land to the first station.  The said Land being due by Transportation of two persons &c  TO HAVE AND TO HOLD &C  TO BE HELD &C  Yielding and paying &c provided &c  Dated the 16th of February 1662---
